Shine bright in the limelight of Joy here at the Performance Team of Joy of Dance. In this group, you get to learn the value of teamwork while pursuing your passion in movement. This is an avenue that provides an opportunity for dancers to perform, bringing joy to the Barrington community and beyond. From local charity events to an annual dance competition, you’ll have the chance to dazzle audiences and grow as a performer. 2nd Grade and up

Unleash your inner hip hop superstar with our Hip Hop Troupe. In this troupe, you can sharpen your moves, embrace hip hop culture and move to the sound of streets. Like our Performance Team, the Hip Hop Troupe participates in various community events and a spring competition, offering ample opportunities to groove and impress. If you’re looking for a crew where you can be yourself and pursue your passion of movement as well, get ready to pop and lock here at Joy of Dance.

Alegria Dance Company is our adult performance team. This team is in addition to technique classes that provides the opportunity to perform in community performances and attend competitions. Groove and move to the center of the stage with the dream team here at Joy of Dance. 

Feel the rhythm in your feet with our Tap Crew! Students participate in various community events and competitions as part of our performance collective.
